In Yakutsk (the republic of the Russian Federation, Eastern Siberia), a businessman who had returned from the Chinese city of Guangzhou was sent to a clinic for examination.
As RIA Novosti was told on Wednesday by the chief sanitary doctor of the sanitary and epidemiological monitoring centre, Artur Protodyakonov, representatives of the centre arrived in the Yakutsk airport to meet one of the passengers of the Khabarovsk-Yakutsk-Mirny plane and sent him to a hospital for examination and medical observation.
This measure was necessary, since the man had stayed in the city where many cases of dangerous disease, atypical pneumonia, had been registered. According to his information, the businessman ignored the recommendations of the doctors to put off the date of his trip and flew to Guangzhou.
Now, according to the approved rules for preventing cases of atypical pneumonia in Yakutia, the businessman has been sent to the hospital for a medical observation.
Other passengers of that plane continued their flight to the town of Mirny.
