Russia aspires to create a favourable climate to develop broad and equal business co-operation, said Vladimir Putin, during a presentation of ambassadors' credentials in the Kremlin on Thursday.
"To this purpose serve the measures on the liberalisation of legislation, debureaucratisation of economy, Russia's active work on joining the WTO," the Russian head of state said.
According to him, the conditions necessary for the development of civilised market relations and free integration into the world economic system have been created in Russia. Putin also stressed that "state and social institutions are being strengthened in Russia" and "effective democratic instruments have been created." Russia is willing to use more actively its economic and cultural contacts with foreign states, regarding them as "a powerful resource to develop business co-operation and contacts of civil institutions," the Russian president emphasised.
