The Russian finance ministry has made a regular payment of $14,722,000 and 11,136,000 euro as part of its debt to the International Monetary Fund.
This is the last payment in June in compliance with the original schedule of the payments, said the finance ministry. Next month, on July 5th and 12th, Russia is to make two payments totalling $170 million. During 2002 Russia has to pay to the fund $1.5 billion. As of January 1st, 2002, the country's debt to the IMF totalled $7.5 billion.
