An extended session of the Russian Ministry of Property Relations and its regional bodies of the Far Eastern Federal District has opened on Friday in Vladivistok, the centre of Primorye. It focuses on the issues of the changes in the management of the federal land and property complex. The area's administration said that Deputy Minister of Property Relations Sergei Molozhavy, Deputy Director of the Land Reform of the Ministry of Property Relations Alexei Fursin, First Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the Russian President in the Far Eastern Federal District Gennady Apanasenko, Primorye's governor Sergei Darkin are taking part in the session. According to Sergei Molozhavy, today most of the state unitary enterprises that are federal and regional property are performing badly, they have lost its strategic significance. "The State must own only those enterprises that are carrying out special functions and are profitable," said Primorye's governor Sergei Darkin. According to other participants of the session, it is necessary to work out and launch the mechanism of effective use of federal property and land resources to attract foreign investments.
