Package with radioactive filling arrives from USA

A radioactive cargo was detained in the airport of the Ural city of Ekaterinburg (Russia). According to the local FSB department, the container in a wooden box with radiation level 1000 times higher then than the allowable rate is, was seized by the customs officials. The box, 145 kg in weight, arrived in Ekaterinburg from San-Francisco and was addressed to one of Ural research Institutes. For the time being the container is at the special room of the airport. The director of the institute is informed about it.
