Most citizens of Ukraine, Belarus and Russia claim for unification of the states

According to the poll, conducted by Moscow Humanitarian and Social Academy, 61 % of Russians, 69 % of Belarussians and 53 % of Ukrainians claim for unification of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine into one state (federal or unitary one). 15 % of Russians , 19% of Belarussians and 36 % of Ukrainians are against the unification, “Interfax” reports. Answering the question, “Which unification of Russia, Belorus and Ukraine is the most preferable for you?”, 38% of Russians claimed for the establishment of unified state (as it used to be in Russia before 1917), 43% of Ukrainians and 57% of Belorussians claimed for it, too. According to the poll, there are 36% of supporters of federation in Russia, 16% in Ukraine and 15 % in Beloruss.
