Holidays at the international space station

US astronaut William Shepherd working at international space station, will be able to keep the Earth’s traditions and celebrate Catholic Christmas even at a height of 400 kilometres. Besides, Russian members of the crew Yury Gidzenko and Sergey Krikalev will join him. Russian and American specialists at the Earth completed an agreement about celebrating the holidays in orbit. They decided to respect and keep the traditions of both countries. December, 25 will be a day off for astronauts. They will be allowed to do what they like to: read, watch films or just sleep.
