Money was allocated for victims of anti-terrorists operations in Chechnya

170m rubles ($6.07m) were distributed among 2,700 victims-participants in anti-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus as of December 15, 2000, the press service of the Labor Ministry informed RBC. Priorities set by the government were observed when distributing the funds. Thus, government compensations for complicated prosthetic devices reach 100 per cent, for rehabilitation treatment - 83 per cent, for complicated operations - 56.3 per cent, and for purchasing wheelchairs - 83 per cent. Another RUR35m ($1.25m) are to be distributed in the near future.
