Federal Security Service prevented 13 powerful terrorist acts this year in Russia, including 6 in Moscow, Vladimir Shults, FSS deputy director says. Moreover, two groups of Chechen rebels aiming to arrange terrorist acts across Russia’s territory were neutralized, Mr. Shults is reported by Interfax as saying. “Explosions had been planned in military hospitals, passenger trains, and, again, in the apartment buildings,” Mr. Shults added.
