The chief of the main department of military budget and financing of the Defence Ministry Colonel-General Georgy Oleinik does not find himself guilty on the charge brought against him, for “exceeding his official commission with causation of grave consequences”. “All my life I’ve been serving for the great Russia, our fatherland, and I’ve never done anything unlawful”, Oleinik said. Commenting on the statement of the main military public prosecutor Mikhail Kislitsin that General Oleinilk will be dismissed soon, the General claimed “if he said so, he is responsible for his words”. “For the time being I proceed with fulfilling my duties in my office”, Geogry Oleinik remarked. “If I have done something that someone doesn’t like, it will be proved in the course of office investigation”, Oleinik was cited by “Ria-Novosti” as saying. “I am not afraid of it at all, because my conscience is clear”, Oleinik stressed. Meanwhile the statement about the General’s dismissal is sent to Defence Minister Igor Sergeyev to be signed. Kislitsin refused to clear up the details of the case because “preliminary investigation is being carried out now”.
