UKRAINIAN ARMY TO BE CUT BY 25,000

Ukraine’s armed forces are to be cut to 375,000, that is, by 25,000, defence minister Aleksandr Kuzmuk said at the meeting with the leadership of Ukrainian military trade unions. In his words, the number of servicemen is sufficient to ensure the state’s security, IMA-press reports. Besides, Ukraine will retain its nuclear-free status as well as the density of the personnel and military vehicles stationed along its entire border, Mr. Kuzmuk added.
