City police is searching for the suspected murderer of a gas company executive

A senior executive with the Yamburggazdobycha company was murdered in Moscow on Monday. Just as Vitaly Filippov, deputy general director of the company, was entering his apartment block on Moscow's Prospekt Vernadskogo around 7 p.m, the murderer fired several shots. Vitaly Filippov was taken to hospital with several wounds. He died of wounds on the way to the hospital, NTV reports. City police began looking for the suspected murderer. Television reports said, the suspect to be a man of average height aged between 40 and 45. He was wearing a green leather jacket and a black hat.
