Arbitration Court Rules In Case Concerning AvtoVAZ's Affiliates

The arbitration court of the Samara region ruled in favor of two affiliated companies of the AvtoVAZ car manufacturing giant, i.e. OAO AvtoVAZtrans and the Tolyatti technological equipment factory, and interrupted the procedure in recovering debts on bills of the above mentioned companies to Rusatomkonsalt. The volume of indebtedness amounts to 40.9m rubles (about $1.38bn). A source in the press service of Rusatommet, a law company representing Rusatomkonsalt's interests, reported to RosBusinessConsulting. This decision was made, as a criminal case filed against the Konstanta company, the insurer of bond deals of AvtoVAZtrans and the Tolyatti technological equipment factory, in 1998 and interrupted in 1999. Konstanta was accused of fraud then.
