International Medical Conference Opens In Moscow

21st Century -- Medical Sciences: From Ideas to New Technologies" is the name of an international scientific and practical conference that opens in Moscow. Among those expected to attend are Russian Vice Premier and Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Ilya Klebanov, the Chairman of the Education and Science Committee of the State Duma Ivan Melnikov, and the President of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Valentin Pokrovsky. The main objective of the conference is to work out recommendations and proposals on how to steady the development of medical science under conditions of market economy and how to promote results of scientific research.
