Over 100 People from Yekaterinburg Phoned the White House

In the framework of the Call George Bush 002 action in Yekaterinburg (a major Russian city in the Urals), 987 people called from the city and its environs to the White House, and 112 people talked to an official of the presidential administration.

A Yekaterinburg paging company which organised this action told RIA Novosti that every Yekaterinburger could phone the White House for free to express his or her opinion on the prepared U.S. military operation in Iraq.

The company did not specify what its clients had discussed with the White House administration, as it would violate their privacy rights. But on the whole, its staffers believe that people called to express their disapproval of the military operation in Iraq.
