Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry has completed taking Russian citizens home from Iraq.
The fourth and the last flight of an IL-62 plane carrying Russian citizens leaving Iraq has landed in Domodedovo airport near Moscow, a RIA Novosti correspondent was told in the Emergency Situations Ministry. On board the plane were 117 persons. Of them 10 are citizens of Ukraine, 2 are from Belarus and 2 from Uzbekistan. The rest are Russian citizens.
Altogether the Emergency Situations Ministry aircraft carried 567 people from Iraq.
It was noted in the ministry that those people were only those experts who wished to go. So far, no instructions have been made as regards more flights to Baghdad, an official told a RIA Novosti correspondent.
