Russia has paid off 32.508m British pounds (38.938 SDR) to the International Monetary Fund on February 11, the Russian Finance Ministry told RBC. The payment has been made in a strict accordance with the schedule. This has been the second payment of the three that are to be made this month.
On the whole, Russia is to pay off about $2bn (1.559bn SDR) to the fund. The total volume of payments on foreign debts to be made this year is some $17.3bn. Russia paid off about $1.5bn to the IMF last year.
