Russian Airline Pulkovo to Open Offices in London and Rome in 2003

The Saint Petersburg-based airline Pulkovo is planning to open offices in London and Rome in 2003. The company press office also announced that Pulkovo is planning to open three more offices in Russia this year: in Ufa, Samara and Tiumen.

Pulkovo began creating a network of representative offices in 1995. At the moment the company has 41 representative offices: 17 in Russia, 7 in the CIS, and 17 in other countries. In 2002 Pulkovo opened 8 new offices: in Istanbul, Seoul, Athens, Peking, Zurich, Tbilisi, Arkhangelsk and Norilsk. Customers visiting these offices are not only able to purchase tickets on Pulkovo flights but also on flights of any airline which has an agreement with Pulkovo.

Pulkovo is one of the oldest Russian airlines. The company currently owns the two airports Pulkovo-1 and Pulkovo-2 as well as two air strips. The company has 23 TU-154 and 11 TU-134 airplanes as well as 9 Il-86 airplanes.
