Azerbaijan to buy more gas from Itera

Azerbaijani President Geidar Aliyev and head of the international group of companies Itera Igor Makarov discussed the development and deepening of mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy field at negotiations in Baku (Azerbaijan), Itera's press service reported. Among other things, Aliyev confirmed Azerbaijan's readiness to increase the volume of natural gas purchases from Itera. The amount of the increase has not been specified so far. The Azerbaijani President positively estimated Itera's longstanding activities for providing the country with natural gas.
