On December 4th-5th, Kaliningrad will host a third session of the Russian-Belarussian Council for long-term cooperation between the Kaliningrad region, Russia's enclave in the Baltic, and Belarussian regions, ministries and state administrative bodies.
The session's participants will discuss passenger and cargo transit via Belarus, as RIA Novosti learned in the press service of the Kaliningrad regional administration.
They will also consider joint measures to create conditions to use the Kaliningrad ports, as well as to set up a joint fishing company and develop cooperation in the fishing industry.
The Council's work will also include sessions of the industry, energy and construction committee, the trade and exhibition activities committee, the health, sports and tourism committee.
The Belarussian delegation will be headed by the country's Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Andrei Kobyakov.
After the session the participants are expected to sign a protocol.
