The annual planned training session of the leading staff of the Russian Armed Forces will be held in Moscow on November 22-26 under the leadership of defence minister Sergei Ivanov. RIA Novosti received this information at the press service of the defence ministry.
The plan of the training session stipulates lessons aimed to raise the theoretical knowledge, and practical and methodological skills of the leading staff of the Russian Armed Forces.
The concluding meeting to be held on November 26th at the defence ministry will sum up the training of the personnel of the Armed Forces in 2002 and determine tasks for 2003.
RIA Novosti has learned that this time the participants in the training session will work strenuously and attend a reception on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Russian military department. The awarding of memorable medals and a concert will take place during the reception.
