Two criminal cases were instituted against air hooligans in the Primorye Territory (the Far East), the Primorye transport prosecutor's office reported on Thursday.
According to its information, the incident took place on September 30.
The check showed that pilot Yuri Kozin used an An-2 plane which belonged to the light aviation federation, without permission of the controller service to fly from the Khabarovsk Territory to the Primorye Territory. During the flight he approached the plane, which flew from the opposite direction, at a dangerous distance and it was merely a chance that no tragedy occurred in the air.
Also in September two pilots on the hang-glider took off without permission to fly. The hang-glider, which was out of order, fell on a farmer's kitchen-garden. The air hooligans received traumas of various gravity.
