Russian Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov accepts a possibility of a militaryoperation in Georgia. He made a correspondent statement to journalistscommenting on yesterday's statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin, atthe request of RBC. Putin stated that if the Georgian government was notable to create a security zone at the Russian-Georgian border, "we reservethe right for individual and collective defense". As Ivanov pointed out,the President did not mean that this operation was obligatory; everythingwill depend on the position of Georgian leaders.
