Russia's diamond monopolist and De Beers negotiate partnership

A delegation of the Russian diamond monopolist ALROSA, headed by thecompany's President Vladimir Kalitin, held negotiations with De Beers topmanagers in Moscow, the ALROSA press service reported. The negotiationswere devoted to bilateral collaboration between ALROSA and De Beers,including the possible expansion of technical cooperation. In addition, theALROSA president had a meeting with the Ambassador of Namibia to Russiadevoted to more active collaboration in the diamond industry according toan agreement signed between the Cabinets of Russia and Namibia.
