Archaeologists have discovered an ancient burial place in the Krasnodar territory (Russia's south).
The burial place was unearthed by an archaeological expedition of the Kuban State University, which is carrying out a research programme at the mounds near the village of Dinskaya.
The discovered burial place dates back to the 2nd - the middle of the third millennium BC, the senior laboratory assistant of the expedition, Vladimir Krutogolovenko, said on Monday. The burial cell contained well-preserved remains of a man, who lived there at that time. The bones of the man and the burial couch were lavishly covered with ochre, which preserved its original colour.
