President Putin believes Russia needs new generation of managers

President Vladimir Putin believes that Russia needs professional, highly educated and creative managers of "a new generation" capable of forwarding brave and non-standard ideas.

The presidential press service reported on Friday that this statement had been included into a presidential message of greetings to participants in the All-Russia Meeting of Young Production Managers.

The message reads in particular that "your forum is an important and timely initiative. Young entrepreneurs and managers from various regions of Russia are in for exchanging their experience and discussing ways to solve many burning issues." The president also noted that it is young and creative managers who "will modernise the country's economy in the 21st century, develop our production potential and reinforce Russia's business positions in the world market." Mr. Putin expressed confidence that "recommendations and proposals developed at the meeting will greatly contribute to the resolution of the aforesaid long-term tasks."
