'Russia must continue on the way of the liberalisation as concerns foreign currency-related policies', President Putin said during his meeting with the members of Russia's government. According to the President's press service, he said that Russia's exclusion from the black list of the Financial Action Task Force, the international organisation controlling the legality of financial operations, was the result of good cooperation between the government and State Duma.
'We not only have passed a whole package of laws', the President continued to say, 'but also have created and got going the Financial Monitoring Committee. Russia's citizens must have as many rights as the citizens of any economically developed country. At the same time, we must strive for increased transparency of the financial activities of both individuals and companies.'
