The gold and currency reserves of the Russian Central Bank were at $45.7bn as of October 11. This means they dropped 200m over the past week. The previous time when the Central Bank's gold and currency reserves had a fall was on September 6, or more than a month ago. At that time, the bank's reserves went down by 100m. The latest drop in reserves was the most significant over more than a month and a half, or since August 23. Nevertheless, due to significant increases observed other weeks, the gold and currency of the Central Bank increased by $1.3bn over this period.
