Did the Terrorists Have the Plan to the Theater

This September, In the basement of the theater, the homosexual club Central Station 2 was opened. The owner of the club is a Chechen, Ilya Abaturov, while the joint owner is Ruslan, the husband of pop-star Kristina Orbakaite. Before the club was opened, it was remodelled. For remodelling, the Chechens must have had the building’s plan.

After the theater was captured by terrorists, law-enforcerment agents and the Alpha Group waited in the club.

Ilya Abaturov reported to the journalists: “Last night, our club was closed (it is usually open from Thursday to Sunday). However, our friends are shooting a film there. As the gunmen began to kill hostages in the hall, law-enforcement agents asked everybody to immediately vacate the club. Therefore, we were forced to obey. The Russian military now occupies the club. Now, there is the headquarters of Russian law-enforcement agents and Alpha Group.

At a distance of about 500 m from the Central Station, one of our people watches and reports everything that happens around the theater. As we have learned, the law-enforcement agents opened all stores with food and alcohol, the kitchen of the club, and occupied all rooms of the club. In this very tragic situation, it would be cynical to talk about our damage, though we are concerned with possible marauding: in the club, there is very expensive musical equipment. So, we hope for military decency. We are afraid of a possible explosion, as well as the whole country, because more grief cannot be imagined than the grief we now feel for the relatives of the hostages.”
