The police have detained two more members of illegal armed formations in Chechnya over the past 24 hours.
Earlier this week officers from the criminal investigation department detained Aslan Gaisumov in the regional centre of Shali finding a grenade launcher, three grenades, three cartridges for a rifle grenade projector and about 400 bullets for Kalashnikov assault rifle in his apartment, the Chechen Interior Ministry informed RIA Novosti on Friday.
In the Naursk district's Ishcherskaya village the police detained a local citizen, Vakha Khadzhiyev, who also had a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
The cases are currently being investigated. The detained separatists are being checked for possible involvement in grave crimes, the Ministry pointed out.
