A Russian Psychologist Confirms That Chechen Terrorist Raduyev Who Is In The Dock Now Is Psychically Normal

Director of the Serbsky Centre of Social and Forensic Psychiatry Tatyana Dmitriyeva has confirmed that Chechen terrorist Salman Raduyev is psychically normal. At the news conference she said that even during the expertise before the trial, which is going on in Makhachkala, Raduyev amazed the psychiatrists by his "pragmatic, on the verge of cynicism, attitude to life." According to her, even on the stage of the expertise Raduyev showed a great "psychological potential." According to Dmitriyeva, in all cases when there is even the slightest suspicion that the suspected or already accused in committing crimes are not psychically normal, law enforcement bodies or courts rule that a psychiatric expertise should be carried out. Tatyana Dmitriyeva said that psychiatrists are very often asked to take part in holding expertises connected with terrorist cases.
