In Chechnya, an armed group of 20-30 separatists attacked the gas company Grozneftegaz, which is situated in the village of Goragorsk, Nadterechnaya district, the Chechen Interior Office reported on Tuesday. Wearing Russian combat fatigues and armed with grenade launchers and assault rifles, the terrorists broke into the premises of the enterprise, beat up three employees of the extradepartmental security system, seized their guns and identity cards, and hijacked a crane, a truck and two special vehicles. The bandits had arrived in cars and were equipped with walkie-talkies.
On the same day, a group of 8-10 people wearing masks and camouflage attacked Akhmed Musayev, the director of one of the Grozneftegaz enterprises. The attack was staged in the village of Nagornaya, Grozny district. Taking Musayev's Motorola radio set and his money /25,000 rubles/, the gang escaped in the direction of the village of Goragorsk. Law enforcers have launched an investigation into each of these incidents.
