Moscow police have found the cause of self-immolation of a woman, which took place two days ago near a school in Moscow. Musala Taqi kizi Dzhamalilova, aged 33, set herself on fire near school № 1213 due to constant conflicts with her husband, a native of Azerbaijan, said Evening Moscow.
"The victim was married to Askerov Eynur Vahid, the couple had three children. Two of them - the sons of 9 and 13 years old - studied at school No. 1213. The woman has died. Paramedics could only confirm her death," a representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow Sergei Stukalov said.
The woman left a note in Azeri in her apartment before she killed herself: "I am not guilty of anything before the love of my heart."
The relatives of the victim said that shortly before the suicide, a woman tried to extort money from the victim, threatening to tell her husband of the alleged infidelity of his wife. In exchange for silence, the blackmailer wanted to get 250 thousand rubles ($8,000), Trud reports.
The tragedy occurred on Wednesday afternoon. The woman doused her clothes with flammable liquid and set herself on fire.
