A cargo plane belonging to the German airline Lufthansa has crashed at Riyadh's King Khaled International Airport in Saudi Arabia.
The plane's pilot and co-pilot were hospitalised after the crash, according to Al Arabiya, a Saudi-financed news channel.
It said the aircraft broke into two on landing after smoke was seen coming from the plane as it approached the airport. Civil defence teams were working to put out the fire, National reports.
"The firefighters are containing the fire," said a spokesman for the General Authority of Civil Aviation, adding there were no casualties. Two pilots are being treated in hospital, the German carrier said in a statement, according to reports Reuters.
