Later, Salehi emphasized that Tehran does all its nuclear activities under the framework of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty (NPT). "Iran believes in the importance and the honesty of the NPT and believes in the same way as the other party," he affirmed.

"We make every effort so that the NPT could not prevent peaceful nuclear activities in the world in a good way. This topic is part of the national interests of the Islamic Republic and we believe in it," emphasized the Iranian Foreign Minister.

After the last round of talks that took place May 23 in Baghdad, Baghdad, Iran and the G5 +1 agreed to return to the talks in Moscow on 18 and 19 June.
