US Congress intends to scuttle deal with Iran

John Boehner, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives claimed, that the Congress intends to scuttle the agreement reached with Iran on the nuclear program.

According to Boehner, the draft resolution with Iran threatens the security of the American people. As he said, the Congress will do everything possible, so that the agreement will not be signed.

"While the president's Iran deal may have been applauded at the United Nations, I think he faces serious skepticism here at home," Boehner said. "Let me just assure you that members of Congress will ask much tougher questions this afternoon when we meet with the president's team."

The Senators are not content with the deal, because they believe the government could get more serious concessions at the negotiations on the nuclear program. They are sure, that the White House can impose more severe sanctions against Iran, and thus, make the talks run the right course.
