Americans' pride of the US subsides

According to a new survey, Americans are less proud of the United States.

The World Values Survey - a global network of social scientists studying changing values and their impact on social and political life, led by an international team of scholars - finds that the percentage of Americans who are "very proud" of the US fell from 77% in 1999, to only 56% today.

That puts Americans' pride behind the national pride felt by the Yemenis, Mexicans, Libyans, Rwandans, Ghanaians, Zimbabweans, Pakistanis, Nigerians, Egyptians, Jordanians, Azerbaijanis, Armenians, Moroccans, Kazakhstanis, Tunisians, Qataris and 13 other countries.

Mexicans are also reported to be much happier against Amaricans.

Other recent polls find out that Americans believe that 75% of all politicians are corrupted by campaign donations and lobbyists, and 70% percent of politicians use their political power to help their friends and hurt their enemies.

71% of Americans believe the election system is biased in favor of the candidate with more money.

Multiple polls show that Americans are more afraid of their government than of terrorists.
