Avalanche kills 5 teenagers in Russia, leaves 1 survivor
The bodies of five teenagers, who were entrapped under the avalanche in Russia's Tuva Republic, have been found, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry said.
At 11:20 MSK, rescuers recovered the bodies of three teenagers from under the thcik layer of snow. The bodies of two other teenagers were extracted soon afterwards. The victims are being identified.
On March 3rd, near the village of Mugur-Aksy, on Mount Ak-Bashtyg, an avalanche entrapped six young people. One of the teens was able to escape and reported the incident.
