Subversive Group Detained In Chechnya

In the course of a special operation Gudermes policemen detained members of a subversive group which specialises in placing explosive devices on the North Caucasian railway, the press centre in Khankala reported on Friday. The three detained has already admitted that on February 7, this year, they blasted part of the railway between Kadi-Yurt and Khasavyurt (run No. 6). Apart from that, 33 men were detained on suspicion of complicity in the actions of illegal armed units. In the past twenty-four hours, the law enforcers have rendered harmless eight home-made explosive devices, seven radio-controlled ground bombs and four tension wires.
