Russia may support USA's operation in Syria, Putin says
Russia does not exclude its consent for the military campaign in Syria by third countries should it be proved that it was the troops of Bashar Assad that used chemical weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday in an interview with The Associated Press.
The President answered the question about Russia's position in case there is irrefutable evidence provided proving the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government. When asked whether Russia would agree for a military operation of the United States against the Syrian regime, Putin replied that he did not exclude such an option.
