One of hacker groups challenged the results of the World Cup match between Russia and Japan. It was said that the results of the game were a fake due to the efforts of Japanese technicians, who served the stadium in Yokohama.

However, there were other very complicated things left, and it was very hard to find out, what they were meant for. The guys decided to copy them in case they could come in handy someday.

They spent a lot of their time working on those schemes, but the only thing that they managed to understand was the fact that the system was meant for creating a powerful electromagnetic current and field on the perimeter of some circuit, the capacity of which varied form several variables that were coming from dozes of computers, including the ones, which were connected to security cameras. The guys did not find out, what the circuit and the magnetic field were meant for on the stadium: maybe they could be used for scaring birds and insects away. Japanese are very inventive and they can make up very unusual things sometimes.

However, a very incredible idea occurred to them. The thing was about the first time of the game: the penalty kick in the Japanese goal. After the ball was kicked, it was flying on the proper parabola, according to physical laws. All of a sudden it flew up without reaching a bar of the Japanese goal. Was it because of air? Or maybe this was the new feature of the official World Cup balls? Something like that happened again several minutes after: the ball changed its flying path and missed the goal. Lucky Japanese! But maybe, it was not only about luck? When cameras were showing the ball close-up, did you get an idea that there could be a fine hexagonal incision of thin wire on the surface of the ball? Igor said that if he was right, then they would not allow the Russian national squad to win.

The match was over, Japan won, but several stubborn guys decided to find out, whether Japan won honestly, not as a result of the technical features of the wonder-stadium. Igor said that if they proved that Japan cheated, then the revenge would be terrible with the help of the same way. He added that Japan would lose with the score 0:8 or even 0:10 in quarterfinals. The game will simply have to take place in Yokohama.

Professor Dmitriyev told us that such developments were taking place indeed. The results are strictly connected with the materials in use and the speed of a flying object. In particular, a bullet that flies at a supersonic speed may swerve four degrees from its flying path. Professor Mironov said that if a flying object was heavier and not so fast, then the results depended on the moment of inertia (the shape actually). There were no tests conducted with soccer balls, but the professor claimed that a ball could have 20 or 25 degrees of swerving at the speed of 100 kilometers per hour and the weight of some 800 grams.
