Father jumps out of moving car to save his daughter

Traffic cameras in the south-east of China filmed the scene of the miraculous salvation of a 4-year-old girl, who fell out of the moving car on a crossing. The incident took place in the city of Wenzhou.

As it can be seen in the video, a door of the moving car opens and the child falls down on the road out of the car. The father, who was driving the car, is seen jumping out of the moving vehicle immediately to pick up his little daughter. The taxi, which was following the man's car, then stops in front of the child thanks to the low speed.

Having picked the child up, the father, who was most likely staying in a state of shock, returns to the scene to pick up something else from the road - either a toy or a shoe. His car continued traveling for about 10 meters and then crashed into a tree.

Police officer Chen Shu said the incident happened because the girl wasn't strapped into her seat.

"It turned out that the child climbed from the back of the seat to the front while her father was driving. The girl opened the door accidentally. When it happened, the taxi and all the other cars weren't going too fast. The taxi stopped immediately so it did not hit the child," the officer said.

The little girl suffered only minor injuries, such as scratches.
