George Person: US continues its political farce - perspective

From the early days of the American revolution, when the state of affairs was dark and grim, and the future of the fledgling nation was seriously in doubt, General Washington's army was on the ropes....
 
While Gen. Washington's army  were at their lowest point, the point where freedom from England was in grave doubt, the Iroquois Indians led a treacherous campaign against the
colonists of the northern frontier, where settlers were savagely murdered by the Iroquois...and supported by the British army.....
 
When the war began turning around, a ruthless campaign against the Iroquois settlements took place....very few Iroquois were killed during the attacks, but they were
driven away from their homes and were ultimately driven in starvation, and many Iroquois unfortunately died......however, the acts were considered punitive in nature for siding with
the British enemy, and kicking the young country in the head when the chips were down...they thought they were on the side of the winners, yet got to taste the bitterness of being on the side of the losers....
 
On another level, soldiers lose control in times of war...in which they are genuinely guilty of murder, yet are driven by the stress of the constant fear of death, which is something we can't really appreciate until we experience it ourselves....it's unnatural for a human to experience these feeling for very long...and some soldiers will eventually snap under the pressure...
 
Gen. Custer was defeated by superior Indian military tactics.....and perished by the sword....he met his earthly justice...and now must meet the tribunals of the  hereafter....facing the charges of genocide....
 
Viet Nam was a wild war.....it was a pure head game.....jungle warfare combined with civilian collusion, made it pretty tough on an 18 year old kid, who was put into a life and death  situation...hardly a situation any of us would like to be in .....
 
The world has been witnessing the battle of the great ideologies - capitalism vs. communism; freedom and private property vs. authoritarian rule and collectivism--both camps have been playing hard against each other on the world stage
 
America was attacked on 9-11 for the following reasons - (1) for retribution for the first war in Iraq, and (2) to isolate Israel in the world arena - and ultimately to bring about Israel's destruction...so dedicated were the 9-11 hijackers, they were willing to suicide themselves for this cause - and will not rest against the West until the Jews are driven into the sea...the test for the Western Christians will be to back Israel to the hilt, as the USA battles a hard headed enemy.....yet, even though they are hard headed, they still get to keep their heads..even if they suffer a little humiliation at the hands of competitive and aggressive US soldiers...who mock their nakedness before the world community...
