Algerian man gets life imprisonment for funding terror attacks in 1995

Court sentenced an Algerian to life imprisonment Friday for helping fund a string of deadly terror attacks in Paris 12 years ago.

Rachid Ramda, the subject of a 10-year extradition battle with authorities in London, had been accused of complicity to murder in the attacks, which killed eight people, injured 150 and put the nation on guard. The court sentenced Ramda, 38, to life in prison with no possibility of parole for 22 years.
