Spain: 5 killed in crash on highway

Five people died in a head-on collision between two cars on a road in northwest Spain on Tuesday, authorities said.

Three other people suffered serious injuries in the crash in Zamora province, the Interior Ministry office there said.

One car strayed into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle head-on, the office said.

The ages and nationality of the victims were not immediately known, according to the AP.
