China sends delegation to observe Pacific war games
China's 10-member delegation to the "Valiant Shield" maneuvers includes one general-equivalent officer each from the People's Liberation Army, air force, and navy, the official Xinhua News Agency said.
The five-day exercises that began Monday in the U.S. territory of Guam involve 30 ships, 22,000 troops and 280 aircraft, according to the AP.
