A bus sped off a mountain road in southwestern China, killing 10 people and injuring 21, in the second deadly crash in the area within a week, state media reported Tuesday.
The bus fell about 90 meters (about 300 feet) after missing a sharp turn while descending a sloping road in Yunnan province's Yongren county on Sunday, the official Xinhua News Agency. The injured were being treated in hospital. All were reported in stable condition, Xinhua said.
On March 28, a bus plunged off a mountain road along Yunnan's border with neighboring Guizhou province, killing 28 people, reports the AP.
