A small bomb exploded Friday in a park next to Thailand's Justice Ministry in suburban Bangkok, injuring four people, police said. The remote-controlled bomb had been placed in a small park near the ministry and was detonated as office workers in the area were going on their lunch breaks, said police Maj. Gen. Kamrob Panyakaew, Nonthaburi provincial police chief.

The explosion occurred shortly after noon (0500 GMT) in the Pak Kret district of Nonthaburi province, a suburb of Bangkok. Kamrob said police did not know the motive or the perpetrators, reports the AP.
