Two Moroccan stowaways found dead in cargo hold of ship bound for Australia

The two men were discovered on Monday by the ship's crew after they heard noises coming from the ship's hold, which was full of fertilizer.

The men had apparently suffocated and the noises were made by two other men, fellow stowaways who survived.

The bulk carrier Furness Karuma left the Moroccan port of Laayoure on Oct. 7 bound for the Western Australia state capital, Perth. The ship is due to arrive in Australia on Nov. 14, AP reported. V.A.
