Baghdad rejects rumored disputes about new constitution

"Not only the Kurds and the Shiites, but all the political and religious forces making up the Interim Governing Council decide on a new constitution for Iraq," he stressed.

Mr. Al-Hakim did not deny the existence of slight disagreements between the different political forces in Iraq. He called them "natural" because the matter is still in discussion.

"Iraq's future constitution is being discussed, which is only the beginning of the process," he noted
